Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last six months. You will be aware of Alex Hormozi’s involvement with skool.com. News of his $200million investment swept over the internet like wildfire. With Hormozi himself pushing the community platform hard on his YouTube channel. Since the announcement was made he has been pushing his skool games challenge in particular.
But why should you care about any of this? After all, there are plenty of platforms and websites out there. Platforms that come and go all the time. Why should you care about skool more than any other website? Well let me explain.

Alex Hormozi has a huge following. At the time of writing this he has over 2 million subscribers on YouTube. And there is good reason for this.

Alex Hormozi’s credentials are undeniable. He has achieved extreme levels of financial success. This means he is worth listening to. He can back up what he is saying as he is the proof. He can literally say “I did this, and it made me x amount of dollars.” And you believe him.

Alex has openly spoken about some of his life experiences that have moulded him. This has made him highly relatable. As we may have had similar experiences. This makes what he saying resonate with his followers even more.

The wisdom coming out of this guy is on another level. He is big on communication. Clear communication. Simple communication. He says that communication is the key to sales success. With the example being that if you run your website copy through a website that simplifies text, you will almost certainly improve sales.
His communication is crystal clear when he tells stories or proverbs. You come away thinking. Wow. That was incredibly obvious but I’d never though of it before. This is the power of his communication style. The stuff he says seems so obvious. But it is only obvious because he explains it so well. Allowing you to fully understand it.

Alex Hormozi comes across as real and honest. He doesn’t sugarcoat things. He doesn’t give airy fairy advice. Often, people avoid this. They bury their heads in the sand. They don’t want to hear the truth. They want to live in denial with the thought that “everything will work itself out.” The fact that Hormozi has such a following while still delivering the harsh truth, shows how targeted his audience is. They are motivated, driven individuals. Individuals that want the cold hard truth.
Now his follower numbers alone makes him a hugely influential figure. But there is more to it than that. Alex Hormozi resonates with his followers on a ridiculous level. His brand of advice is clear, direct and to the point. His audience is also highly specific. Business owners and entrepreneurs. More specifically, business owners and entrepreneurs looking to improve and make more money.
Is Alex Hormozi a business genius?
The short answer to this question is yes. Alex Hormozi continuously emphasises the importance of education. He is constantly reiterating this point. Saying how we can fast track our success by learning from others. He talks regularly about the importance in investing in our education. Specifically he talks a lot about online courses. And how it is worthwhile paying for knowledge.
The perfect fit
This ties in perfectly with the premise of skool. Skool is literally an online education platform. Now Alex Hormozi has a following on over 2 million subscribers, on YouTube alone. He knows these followers are on the same page as him. So are therefore likely to invest in their education. This is why skool is destined to be huge.
Hormozi the ultra influencer
Hormozi is now an ultra influencer. He has the perfect product and the perfect audience. Pairing this with his unbelievable ability to sell. It’s going to be dangerous. Whether we like it or not, this is a huge opportunity. And now is the perfect time make the most of it.

The Early bird catches the worm
While it is true that skool.com has been around since 2019. Most people have only became aware of it in late 2023. This is for the reasons mentioned above surrounding Alex Hormozi. Now in 2024 the platform is expected to explode in terms of user numbers. But what does this mean? Well it means it is still early. It is the time to be an “early adopter” of the platform. By getting in early, you have a real chance of growing something big. And establishing yourself as an authority on the site.
Become an authority on skool
Now is the perfect time to create a group on skool. By getting involved now, you have a good chance of growing a group to a high level. This is because of the influx of new users heading to the platform.
Is skool all hype?
So is skool all hype? Or is it something you should be taking notice of> Well, here’s my take on this. Alex Hormozi has publicly said that he will not endorse a company unless he fully believes in. This is because he has his reputation on the line. And therefore has a lot to lose if something goes wrong with that company. He is of the opinion that any company he endorses has a lot more to gain than he does. And on the flip side he has a lot more to lose than them, in terms of reputation.

So as long as Alex Hormozi is wearing a tatty looking hat with the word “skool” on it. I’m going to be involved.
