## Free Skool Course - aka Free Skool Course - what's it all about?

Welcome to my breakdown of Free Skool Course (formerly known as Kourse). I'm already sick of typing "formerly known as Kourse", so for the remainder of this
post I'm going to assume you know that it was formerly known by that name. Right, now we've got that out of the way, let's take a look at what its all about.

## Kourse - aka Free Skool Course on Skool.com

The key details about Kourse (Free Skool Course) - the group that teaches you how to make money online using Skool.

## Free Skool Course on skool.com – My thoughts

I thought I had been a member of [Kourse on Skool](https://www.skool.com/kourse-free/about) since I signed up to the platform in January 2024 - but it looks like
I imagined this! What this means is that this group was one of the most prominant "make money online" groups on the entire platform! The fact that I was so aware of
its presence without even being a member of this shows just how popular it is.

With this in mind, it begs a very important question. Why would you close down a group with over 100,000 members?

### Why has Kourse closed?

The question as to why Kourse has closed is not entirely obvious. But it does seem odd. And potentially exposes
issues with the platform itself.

#### Other Skool groups have closed in similar situations

This is not the first time I have seen groups with tens or hundereds of thousands of members closing down. I have seen it previously
with other "make money online" groups and the excuses put out were obscure and did not make sense. When I had seen it with previous
groups (which I will not name as this is purely my opinion and not neccessarily factual) - my instinct was because the members
in those groups were primarily bots. And specifically bots used by the group admins to inflate the groups numbers and give the impression
that the group was way more popular than it really was. **I don't think this the case with Free Skool Course**.
